Hello my name’s Odette, but you can call me OD. I’m the creator of O so inspired, a South African lifestyle blog, which is commonly referred to as OSI. Although you’ll find a wide variety of posts in this blog, most of them cover the topics of music, beauty reviews, book reviews and my hometown Port Elizabeth. You’ll also find a number of opinion pieces.

I’m just a girl with an opinion and a love for pretty things. I laugh at my own jokes and walk into walls. I cry during sad bits in movies and love losing myself in a good book.  I love the colour pink and I can’t be trusted alone around chocolate.

I’m based in the beautiful coastal city of Port Elizabeth, which is also called The Bay. During the day I am an office worker and at night I am a blogger, student and freelance writer. I am a non-fur mom to a naughty but lovable Swiss Shepherd, Bishop.

If this is your first time here, a great place to start would be some of my popular posts on OSI:
